Analysis of A Tribute to the Fallen

Michael Groover 1969 (Knoxville Tennessee)

A Tribute to the Fallen

Shining stars in the night,
we honor you tonight,
Gone from our lives,
But forever in our hearts.

Heroes of strength,
brave and fearless,
You felt no fear
in the face of all danger.

Dedicated and brave,
Risking all for our sake,
Gone too soon,
Your memory will never break.

Lives lost in battle,
The price of defending freedom,
Your courage never wavered,
Your legacy will linger on.

We remember you today,
Your greatest sacrifice,
Your final stand
in deepest devotion to our land.

What you have done,
We can never repay,
But you will be remembered,
with pride on this day.

Courageous, brave, and strong,
You have earned a place in our hearts,
Your names immortalized
for eternity and forevermore.

We honor you,
In our thoughts and in our prayers,
Valiant and brave
you shall be remembered for all ages.
