Analysis of Facing Lancelot

I was not afraid of blame
Nor to face your perfect frame
Milder than the light you bring
That shon your being bright
Softer than the air we sling in passions sweet embrace of God
You share within the life you bring
To touch your face alone; to sing
Lasts longer than my throne could bring
That I might look upon your body someday
And reach your hands in our gentlest prayer
So might lift my heart to your stay
In the heavens far far away
To defeat the darkest skies
I as gweneveer revised
And gift in modern enterprise
Archaic beauty blended through soul
Accept my sword of knowledge lost
To birth in the aftermath of man
That we might share a loving horse
To bless the skies we ride upon
In verbal innocence uncorse forgot,
My dearest brother lancelot.
