Analysis of Days before
My eyes fall heavy, heavy to the grey
The heaviness is over-bearing with more
and more to weigh
Smoke so thick, filling up my lungs
A song hoped to hear remains unsung
In the distance I struggle,
struggle on to see...see what lye's
ahead waiting just for me..
I pray for clearer skies
for the grey to turn to blue
for the weight to lift to less
to the life I once had knew
To the days before...
my world came crashing down
when smiles I wore
instead of this frown
when colors existed
highlighting the sky
when days where so much brighter
before we said goodbye...
