Analysis of Happiness Has Left Me

I grew up overshadowed by anger and depression
Where the people around me spoke lies
No one could ever understand me
And could never see my hurt

Scenes of wild thoughts running through my head
Oh how I wished it were all dreams

Got myself together and built a family
Life seemed to be looking up

But again came the anger and  depression
Down the long path of hopelessness ,
How I wished people could understand me

Seems happiness has left me,
have no place to scream
Almost no one seeing my hurt ,
No one  hardly is listening

The sun shines for others when my night is dark
As holes form in my heart ,
but no damage was  ever visible

Seems happiness has left me,
got no place to scream
Almost no one seeing my hurt ,
No one  hardly listening
