Analysis of Toes in the Sand

Feet left an impression
On the beach after tide would subside
Evidence of the transformation
Disappeared when shore water arrived

Footsteps running away from a wave
Shallow pools toes in the sand made
Fleetingly feeling expressively brave
No longer Ariel the little mermaid
