Analysis of Frostbite

My heart, a frigid stone, it sears. Not aflame, but icy, cold, and clear. Its arctic chill permeates an internal frostbite that continually reverberates. Fingertips numb, an uncanny type of ache, a sensation so profound that words fail to articulate.

She held the demon's gaze, unflinching, declaring, "I'd rather endure your infernal blaze, be scorched by your flames than perish under your glacial curse. I am not your queen, not the sovereign of your icy solitude and piercing hurt."

Trust was confiscated; a voice silenced in the weak. Honesty eludes me, strength in this cold world I desperately seek. Shattered fragments of my being surround me, a spectacle, a panorama of despair for all to see. You've crafted a catastrophe, a train wreck, an effigy of my former self.

A violation of the soul, tortured, tormented until it fled. Now, I reside in this void, in the disarray and chaos you've meticulously spread. Each time I choose myself, you taunt, you tease with a fleeting glimpse of glee. A tantalizing promise of joy, only to be snatched away.
Return my soul, release me from this chilling spree.

Caught in this repeating nightmare, love was offered, a beacon in the dark, then abruptly disappeared. Your crimson eyes hold no terror, the pain you inflict is a familiar error. Felt since the tender age of seven, surreptitiously crept in, akin to an angel's deceitful descent from the heavenly din.

I reject the malevolence you've bestowed, your touch is repugnant, a vile assault against my will. Let me go.
I've become a spectacle, a sight I cannot bear to witness in the mirror.  Cease the slow encroachment of despair, stop this relentless, chilling affair!

I prefer your fire, demon, let it consume me quick. Let me incinerate in your flame, let it dance upon my skin.
Compared to your frostbite, your relentless, numbing cold, your blaze is but a flick, a mere spark in the cold.
