Analysis of Remain with God
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
I am writing these things to you,
About those who try to deceive;
Seducing with what is not true,
Twisting facts to make you believe.
The anointing that you received,
No need to hear what others teach;
Your faith remains what you believed,
What the hand of the Lord does reach.
Anointing teaches you about,
What is the truth and does not lie;
Just as it taught you not to doubt,
For making you to question why.
Abide in Him when He appears,
That we may have the confidence;
Not to shrink from the shame or fears,
In your having a good conscience.
If you know that He is righteous,
In Him righteousness has been born;
Ensured everyone who would practice,
Righteousness where they do sojourn.
