Analysis of A. I. E. O.

I must admit,
Once being an advocate of ignorance.
Since I only in my youth knew,
The limitations of an environment.
Until I grew to explore alone by myself,
So much more I did not know.
To learn as I began to grow,
That what I was told was not all...
I could expect regardless if I rejected it.

Today as artificial intelligence,
Becomes an entity introduced to develop.
With everyone owing,
Some aspect of their lives lived artificially.
Leaves me no longer to wonder why,
Common sense gone unused...
These days we witness is not a necessity.

Since eventually,
Artificial Intelligence Everyone Owes...
Everything done to do for them.
Whether intended or not.
To have a thought to think.
With a doing to be controlled,
By a robot relied upon to recommend...
A better way to make love.
Done with less expense to pay for it.

Although...
Keeping the electricity bill as low as possible,
Is a dilemma we all must face.
If the making of love is all we are left to do,
And the robot is kept charged.
Without a single cent paid.
To perform as instructed.

'A' is for Intelligence programmed artificially.

'I' is for I have a headache. Leave me alone.

'E' is heard from the robot to hear sing,
     'Endless Love'.

'O' is for an opened door. Left that way.
To exit immediately to know enough,
      Not to want more.
When the robot begins to confess,
      Of having needs gone unfulfilled.
      As had been programmed.
And charged up enough to address.
With a caring less who begs for rest!
      Done as programmed.
      Time released to ensure effectiveness!

Go back to your charging station!
And...
Leave the door open.

'Me, you sing duet?
No?
Yes?'

What have we done to ourselves?

'Nothing yet.
Me try. You reject.
Me now go.
Battery low!'
