Analysis of Love's Struggle in Rhyme
In a world where colors should unite,
Two hearts were drawn, like day and night,
Their love defied the world's cruel rhyme,
A sonnet of pain in metered time.
Her skin, an ebony tapestry rare,
His, like the moon, so pale and fair,
Innocence trapped in a world so blind,
Where love's sweet union, they cannot find.
Through stolen glances, their hearts would meet,
In hidden whispers, they'd find their seat,
Yet prejudice, a poisonous storm,
Tore them apart, a heart-wrenching norm.
For love, they say, knows no divide,
Yet society's judgments, they could not hide,
In the midst of darkness, they longed to be,
Two souls entwined, forever free.
In this sonnet of love, their pain we see,
A lament for a world that could not let them be,
In the lines and verses, their story's confined,
A love transcending borders, in the heart and mind.
