Analysis of Despair

Edward Powers 1959 (Texasrs)

Despair
"Take a load off" they say. Holding frustration, despair, regret, and sadness. I have to agree. With the beauty of Nature around me as a comforting friend.Music as a releaf. Poetry as an outlet.
Riding the flow of time, grabbing at branches of understanding.
This numbing despair is eating at my soul.
Trying not to reflect on my sad life.My inner movie is a dreamscape of surreal battles. No longer having hope of any sort. My blurry vision is a reflection of my life. What was once opportunities , is now a slowly disintegrating reality.
