Analysis of Introspectively Speaking
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Introspectively speaking.
After awakening to now keep in prospective,
My own foolish unconsciousness...
Once kept to not accept myself to believe,
I could be used to be someone else's fool.
With this to do as a choice to choose.
Yet not expect,
Those steps I took to decide and take...
Would eventually reflect,
My movements made validated a stupidity.
And today,
To have displayed nothing but an idiot.
Performed to portray in the best way done?
I have stopped to observe and listen to watch.
Others doing better,
Than I would or could to myself admit...
I had actually attempted to compete,
With morons.
Seeking amongst themselves to be imbeciles.
And today,
So happy I am...
To be regarded as just another fool.
Doing boring stuff.
And going about my business.
As an undercover common sense thinker.
With a mind to use.
In these days the few who do it,
Are rumored and gossiped to be crazed.
And that found to find normalized,
Has me finally feeling blessed.
No longer do I feel a fool.
Subjected to ridicule.
When competing in a field full of idiots.
With the expertise and skills,
I was not blessed by God to have.
Yes.
I now can openly confess,
I would rather be a fool.
Than a wanna be idiot.
Imitating the best moron around to be!
Introspectively speaking and happy about it.
'So...
You're saying,
To admit...
You are no longer dumb?'
'Well...
I did get married twice.
So I can not honestly say,
I am cured and have completely recuperated.
Still I remain a work in progress.
I am a fool.
To have done dumb and stupid stuff.
Although,
None yet can I say I confess to regret!
Like you I do have temptations.'
