Analysis of Brought to View

Sometimes the truth is hidden in
A poem camouflaged
With metaphors and similes
That wait to be dislodged.

And there is poetry that will
Express opinions through
The story poems that reveal
What life has brought to view.

But don't get lost while looking for
The "diamonds in the rough"
Or you might not appreciate
How small things are enough!
