Analysis of Pages of Time

TO CATHERINE CANNON, MY FAVOURITE TEACHER

We all are given time.
It just depends on what we do
with our time that matters
for old age comes along before we know it,
and youth is but a gift of the past.
It's important to find meaning in our lives and
avoid sorrow.
Time is the gift of creation,
but it's more noble how we use this gift.
Time is a teacher, and it has it's mark,
for we don't want to be a prisoner of time
but rather a citizen of knowledge.
