Analysis of Finding truth

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

A conquest lost
in dreams of youth

countless seeds sown,
some wildly

sailing our ideas
to the wind

Thru both calm
and storm

Riding majestic steeds
performing valiant deeds

For reasons
unknown

Before our only chance
we know ...gone

we fortify,
enhance and guide

after the pattern
of our steps,

To coincide with what time
suggests is prudent

there is much
for us to do

leading choices,
shifting voices

as we lend our time,
our life our pride

hoping successfully
to pursue a path

we see them
as they're lost

from familiar places
in all we ask for proof

we'll not be wasting
time in play

even as we seek,
we focus

transitioning continuously
by phases,

Shifting
thru the traces

makes me wonder
sometimes

about the things
we do

making every effort
To live a composite truth

when we join efforts

ever in our hearts
