Analysis of Catharsis
Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)
You readied
for the strike
Straight
to the heart
Clean Cold
Ruthless Bold
A strike
You’d practiced
so many times
It was second nature
You’d gotten bored
Of the standard
Single strike to the vitals
You’d meticulously
Made yourself aware
Of every possible kill point
You were best at it too
You’d do them
right nasty
Toy with them awhile
And when their
struggles and cries
No longer
amused you
You’d rip their hearts
out by the roots
And stomp them
Until they beat
