Analysis of How Could you play me
I was blind wanting to see us live a long life together, wanting to see us jump the broom together, but all the weakness you speak of me made me thinking I was the one needing to get it together, you sold me hopeless dreams and promised me better days but you lied to me , you made me cry countless times, How could you play me , How could you say you love me but verbally abused me, I was too blind thinking you loved me wholeheartly but you didnt you loved the control you had over me, I wanted you to change but not for ME BUT FOR yourself, you shold me I needed to love myself but long as I allowed you to play with me I became stuck in my mind battered and blind thinking about all the good memories stole my mind.

About this poem
Loving someone hard even through there behaviors of lack of communication and some of there verbal abuse inspired me to write on my emotional attachment to them.
