Analysis of Amazing Grace
Maria Clavo So 1958 (New Orleans)
As your mom laid in her bed
On your lap she placed her head
Water rolling down her face
Telling everyone how she's
Your Amazing Grace
Family and friends not far away
Waiting on you for
Her final place to lay
Nerves so bad you can't sit still
Asking God if this is for real
The only kid she had on Earth
That says a lot about your worth
Spoiling you rotten is what she did
Such a Blessing to be an only Kid
With your kids, She's made a Granny
She smiled so big the Angels can see
Now she's leaving you alone
Your Kids will give you the strength to carry on
Understand Life's a test
What's done is ok, if you do your best.
Sing to Her as She lay by your side
Tell Her She's filled
Your heart with pride
Cause She's your Amazing Grace.
