Analysis of Hey Little Dove

Hey little dove...
Precious fowl of the air
So young, and free just flying without a care
Too young to fathom sorrow
Knowing nothing about despair...
Hey little dove...
So peaceful, yet, so rare
How I selfishly wish that you could trade places with me
Experience my abandonment, my trauma, and all of life's debts that bring me to my knees
Hey little dove...
Not below, nor far above
May you please cling to my presence to keep my soul at peace?
