Analysis of Fear 1

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

So, Powerful... Firmly gripping

Dropping chain-reaction tears

Emotion packed explosions...

Shattering your will

Exposed to a side of you that caves

makes you want to scream in terror,

Grab someone you love and bolt

Makes your collective intelligence shut down...

Brings all your aspirations… of succeeding

Tumbling down, makes you lose your breath...

Frozen in a state of paralysis

Feel so close to death it makes you cringe.

So scared, you’ll feel the need to be strapped
…and call for backup,

Get a near enemy to get your back

Even if you're strong you’ll break down in tears

Brings thoughts Be they icy cold or fiery hot

Homing into the sense of who you are…

From ground zero to your place among the stars

When you recover, you will be another person

Wiser, armed with new visions

Which will serve you and build your world

Stronger over the years

Now that you …have conquered
