Analysis of Wishes are still wishes and dreams are still dreams

Desmond muzite 2002 (Rusape)

Wishes are still wishes and dreams are still dreams,
But my love for you is more than it seems.
I wish upon a star, and dream of you at night,
Hoping that someday, you'll be by my side

Your smile lights up the darkest of skies,
Your eyes shine brighter than any sunrise.
Your touch is like a gentle breeze,
Your love is the only thing that puts me at ease

I dream of holding you close, feeling your heart beat,
I dream of walking with you, down the quiet street.
I dream of kissing your lips, and holding your hand,
I dream of a future, where we make our stand

Wishes are still wishes and dreams are still dreams,
But my love for you is more than it seems.
