Analysis of INTUITION GUIDED LIFE

Intuition is great,
Until you hit home run,
On each and every little thing,
Then you start to believe it.

I think when you know betrayal,
When it's all you've ever seen,
You can smell it from miles away,
And keep distance from the sidewalk.

Don't get me wrong,
I'm not afraid of a broken heart,
Behind this beautiful smile ,
Is a heart with a million bandages.

I mean, look at this heart,
There's no more room for mending,
There's no room for taking chances,
Another blow might be fatal, or final.

All the pain gave me intuition,
You can't hurt me,
I saw it coming and dodged a bullet,
But now my heart is full of what ifs.

What ifs for moments I didn't cease,
For the chances I didn't take,
Because I played it all out,
And I didn't win in that movie.

I don't know what's worse,
Living it and paying the price for it,
Or not living it at all to avoid the pain,
I'll never know, because I never lived it.
