Analysis of You can't leave

You can't leave, there's still too many things to do.
You can't leave, cause its still me who believes in you.
And...
You can't leave, though I know you've been living under such a dark cloud.,
You can't leave, cause I still have some things to do to make you proud.
Sometimes...
It don't seem like that's enough, to make you want to hold on,
but,...
If you can, remember,
"what doesn't kill you, makes you strong".
You can't leave, because you and I have allot of catching up to do.
You can't leave me, because my red heart, would surely turn blue.
I know you have suffered heartache and stress,
but if you give up and leave,
you'd be putting my will to live, to the test.
For,
to go on without you here, the thought is to much to bear.
You can't leave yet,
because we have too much life that we need to share.
Life is so limited, but there are choices we can make,
but, there are no choices in death,
to give up is such a final mistake.
I hope that when you read this,
it encourages you to stay,
If this doesn't work, nothing else will,
I'm talking about me, your son, Ray

About this poem

I wrote the words at a time when my mother was suffering with cancer. (It is my desire to have it published to somehow inspire cancer patients)
