Analysis of AGAIN
Again, I realize the path before me is wrong;
I have missed my way and light.
Again the sun heats me from behind,
causing a shadow of darkness to stain my sight.
I have lost rhythm of my voice and song
to the off-beat of mind and heart again.
Again, I am discouraged by what I feel
when I hear and taste fate's bitterness and disdain.
Again, I am happy about the sad tears
that have escaped the imprisonment of my eyes.
And again, I will seek for comfort and find it
where there was nothing short of lies.
I won't give up easily
but I won't persevere further.
Again, success would be mine
and failure would stray farther.
