Analysis of CIRCUS

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

The noises and the sights keep getting louder. The smell of a new lover lingers deep inside my nose, and the devil and I make three. The sleep inside of this dream will not allow me to be. I am stuck inside this circus when I was meant to be like a Wildhorse free.

It is going to be 50 years. Since I was born, is it time to open a new chapter in my life? And tear away the pages that are no longer readable, but should I because the ink that covers the pages is still teachable.

I have been in this circus for so long that I am covered in shit, smelling like one of the animals. but now I am starting to open my eyes and realize that it is no longer my circus, no longer my monkeys
