Analysis of Queenie

She came to me as a baby
Now she's all grown up
I found her in a rainstorm
Now she brings me sunshine

She's there for me in the morning
And again to say good night
My lap she warms all day
At every chance she gets

She watches me from the window
And sends her love my way
I hope she feels my love for her
She knows I keep her safe

She wants to be my inside cat
Alas that cannot be
But still my love she has
And always that will be

For now she is my outside cat
Until I find a home
Someone to bring her inside
To make their house a home

I offer prayers
For my little queen
That she will find someone
To love her as I do
And that she will love in turn
