Le ciel nocturne et bas s'éblouit de la ville
Et mon cœur bat d'amour à l'unisson des vies
    Qui animent la ville au-dessous des grands cieux
    Et l'allument le soir sans étonner nos yeux

Les rues ont ébloui le ciel de leurs lumières
    Et l'esprit éternel n'est que par la matière
    Et l'amour est humain et ne vit qu'en nos vies
    L'amour cet éternel qui meurt inassouvi
