Analysis of Someone like you

Christina Lyon 1988 (1988)

Never thought I’d meet someone like you
The way you make me feel like you do
So pretty and smart
So important and loved
Someone was listening
When I prayed up above
You’re like the best thing that’s ever happened to me
And in time I hope you see
That I’m everything in a gf you want me to be
Cuddly and gentle
So attentive and sweet
When you walk through my door I get butterflies
And race to stand up on my feet
There may not be perfection in this world
But when I lay down next to you
And look into your eyes
That’s all that I see
