Analysis of stars

Alexandra 1996 (Van Nuys, CA)

there were no stars in the sky
i asked you to fix it
your fist kissed my face
and i grinned
there were stars dancing in your pupils
and blood dripping from your knuckles
i do not remember the name for these stars
but i think it rhymed with love
