Analysis of Pickpocketing dreamers

Kelley Davies 1983 (Dallas)

She stole my heart with a single glance

I became entranced, enthralled by the moment's momentum

The sun went into heaven, and the stars evaporated

Through time, like a conveyor belt, I was slung like a grape through a vessel

The air becomes black and the stars become sticky

I am sticking to the stars like a leaf to the vacuum

And out of that arises an answer, a peaceful proposition

Remember. Kelley. Remember.

You will make it to the dawn.

Stress not the unusual, lead not down the travelled halls, pace towards the moon instead

One step makes the next step that much easier

Don't drown in the sorrow from empty thoughts and feelings taking excuses from you like a holocaust of the heart

You will remember, darling, soon.

The fall never happened. You were always real. Never forget, my lover. Your kiss meant everything to me.
