Analysis of Love always dies

Della Maynard 1994 (Ohio)

He was all scars
and sublimated pain
She was the clouds
soft, an ever giving rain
Together they were Love
holy blood and fire
Darkness and Light combined
the pinnacle of desire
She spoke of forever
as he looked on with disdain
He knew that always
always means never
She didn’t complain
First flush of love
hearts swelling
lips telling
secrets, and lies
Love never ends
Love always dies
