Analysis of Imposter
Never knowing whom
Whom I am inside
Never gathered all the pieces
Puzzled it all together
Why am I so bitter
Covered in laughter for eyes to see
Never knowing the real me
She is never a shame to see
Always hard to please
Geez
I never actually knew the real
Me
It’s still unpredictable
On whom I’m becoming to be
This I sure will have to see
Whatever that even means
Emotions hard to tame
I just want to feel fame
For I know the fortune would be nice
Don’t think my writing is worth that price
Never knowing if it’ll be
Or even if this is for me
So unsure of all these things
Why does it feel all pretend
For me who am I?
Guess I’ll have to see till the end.
