Analysis of Desire

I don’t want your FaceTime
birthday wish. I want
the cool touch of naked
thighs around my hips;
baby-soft kisses
tattooed on my neck;
silk brush of breath
across closed eyes
like the omnipresent calm
before unimaginable
thunder and lightning erupt
