Analysis of Succubus
She walks along the vine;
With a mane for hair and hoof to lure,
And when she whinnies, a proud divine;
Your soul it tests, not true or pure.
Look not into the eyes your soul,
Nor strap yourself to noble cause;
She slinks along plain and knoll,
Seeking to devour without pause.
Look now back to review the fate
Of man and mule, your decision made;
She tastes your nectar on your date
To take you to purgatory where you will wade;
And wait for salvation from yourself.
Stay there now to wonder;
Hope and dream about the never,
And let it take you under.
