Analysis of Pained heart
Tristen 2002 (United States)
A bittersweet taste arrives with the thought of you.
Of the pleasant memories, and happy times,
the way my heart would race at your every smile,
memories now tarnished by the pain of your rejection.
Now I lay while empty thoughts roam my head,
my heart burns from the yearn for you,
and I dismay that it wasn't I you chose, but him.
