Analysis of WITH MYSELF
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
These words are not like my emotions, for my words flow freely, for they are no prisoner of mine my heart knows, but my mind is much wiser of the two. They watch each other, not knowing that it is me and not you that they wish for, so I sit inside this silence, having one last sip of spirits and wanting more.
I no longer try to explain what holds a question but a continuing answer. Do I go in the snow angel motion, praying that I start some commotion? I am with myself dancing inside the fire, watching the burning flames saying as clear as day fark as the night, you will remember my story because I was given a name.
