Analysis of To Dream of All the Possibilities
Oscar Auliq-Ice 1994 (Port Elizabeth)
In the depths of night, when all is still,
And the moon casts shadows on the hill,
My heart sings out a lonely tune,
As I dream of brighter days to come soon.
I long to feel the warmth of the sun,
To run in fields and feel the grass undone,
To see the world with fresh new eyes,
And hear the birds sing in the skies.
But for now, I'll rest and close my eyes,
And let my thoughts take to the skies,
For in my dreams, all is possible and bright,
And I can soar and reach great heights.
So let the night embrace me with its peace,
And let my worries and troubles cease,
For in this moment, I am free,
To dream of all the possibilities.
