Analysis of WHAT WOULD IT BE?

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

If you were to dream without sleeping, what would it be? What type of reality would you see to cry without tears, to be wrapped up in worries and fears, to laugh without smiling, to die without living, to hate without loving, to know God but not knowing yourself? What would you be?

To judge but being afraid to look in the mirror yourself having a bunch of books on your shelf yet not knowing the actual words you read. Being a sinner but not knowing why they say you must always bleed. Are the rich the only ones full of anger and greed?

Where is your ancient soul, the one with the story still being written and told? I always feel like I am fighting and drunk, but where are the war and the spirits that may or may not exist? What would it be questioning you and me?
