Analysis of Lives Cut Short

What world wonders
wait while we wallow?
Storied vistas sights unseen
A road that's hard to follow

A path untold stretches far beyond
Looping, turning, rising, falling
It's time now to respond.

Buts it's too late
The decisions made
The sand has now run out.
The fight is done
The bell has rung
It's time to end our bout.

The paths cut short
The looping's stopped
We can now see the end
There's little welcoming in the darkness before that final bend
Lives Cut short will not see the light around that final bend
For us there is only darkness
For here's our journeys end.
