Analysis of Her Dancing on leaves* (sasenarine persaud)

Imagine winter, lecture hall, Boston.
Male gazing at female.
Closely desked.
Moving away from old chestnuts
Like John Donne.
Considering rather a wife
In primordial lands.
Baby strapped on.
Bringing provision to
Sturdy lumberman Husband
At his Camp of weeks.
Barefooted in the deadfall, twigs
Off casts of green.
Male and female caught up
In the dampness, bumps and grinds
Tropical heat
Of faithful, voluptuous Union.
Of separation, reunion.

Will there be a chat. For the two?
Following dismissal; a dating?
In the freshness of
Wintry Boston, Mass.
The snowy dampness and chill.
(The travellers gone before.)
She leaves for holiday break in Rome.
He sighs. For the time being.
(Professor Schomburgh  packs briefcase.)
