Analysis of Linger

Donald champagne 1990 (Oswego)

Her fragrance lingering down the stairs
Those eyes make my heart pounding with amaze
Her touch takes my mind to nirvana now
Her kiss is out of this world like wow
Caressing me with her touch
Making me weak it's to much
Wishing I was her only true love
Everything about us fits like a glove
Do I have what she deserves in a man
Can I show her how much I can
Be the best husband that she would need
Or will I fail even bye begging and plead
Am I good enough for her to only want me
Or will she want to marry better than thee
Only time will maybe tell and show me
If she will want only me and become we
I do not know what will happen to me
If it turns out that she doesn't want me to be we.
