Analysis of I could read Poetry
Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)
I could read poetry
I really feel like it
Hear the thoughts the people say
I could really read some poetry today
It isn't quite a new day
But I was awoken by God
It's rather odd
But I could read poetry
I could read poetry
Feel the words straight from the heart
Gods work of art
I could read poetry not write - no art!
I tried to return to sleep
But the witches and the goblins took hold
And my mind told
I could read poetry
I could read poetry
And tell the authors what I rate the mark
The devine spark
I could read poetry like Noah's Ark
I tried to sing my way back home
Into the unknowns of the dark
Where white angels say
You could read poetry
