Analysis of The Piercing Arrow
Geena Whyte 2004 (Nigeria)
I wish you never existed
I wish you were partial
Why do you exist?
You are just an obstacle to life
The loss of a treasure
The loss of breaths
All losses revolve around you
Can't you be silent?
Must you act?
Must you take away treasures?
Why?
Can't you let go?
Do you love tears that much?
Why do you take them when we need them
Letting us miss them so badly
Like a black surface
You absorb people's joy
Everlasting happiness, gone!
No mercy! Enemy of all
Life taker
The souls' thief
You find joy in taking souls
Death! You are just a piercing arrow.
