Analysis of Be Someone Else
Shawnice Pate 1991 (Brooklyn)
I've been wondering if my journey was for real.
The way to be someone else feels.
I chose to be in their shoes.
Formerly I had to lose myself and choose.
It's a way to enact roles for motivation.
They excite me for the inspiration
I like the way it is to be with creativity
I feel it's up to me to pretend
In my defense, my old wounds will heal
I am telling how it feels
