Analysis of Suffering quiet indignities

Barbara Eiland 1962 (Fairbanks)

She suffered the indignity of the hospital quietly. Rough. Unkind treatment, wrong food, painful tests and ignored by doctors. She was thinking
I'm not enough
 Not enough.
Not enough.

The nurse rushes around Frustrated and hurting. Her boyfriend was caught cheating on her that very day. Too many patients for too many days. She knows she was unkind and rough.
I'm not enough
Not enough Not enough The husband stuck at home. He wants to visit his wife. He can't because he can't walk from the parking lot to her room. The husband. wants to protect and comfort her, is not able.
 I'm not enough .
Not enough.
Not enough.

God looks down with the angels. Look at the woman in the hospital. Patient and kind despite the discomfort. The strength and resilience of the nurse. She could have called off. She is trying so hard. Do see the husband cleaning house, so his wife will be comfortable when she comes home.
What magnificent creatures.
They are more than enough
More than enough
More than enough.
