Analysis of NOT SLEEPING ANYMORE

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Lately, I have been hiding inside the things that use to scare me while embracing the darkness and walking through the shadows, I am still a little fucked up yet I am trying to spread my love and light.

I am looking inside the moment while questioning my past why is there a need for us to fight?
I have at times now found myself slipping into some old ways I have not had a good rest in days. why in the hell do my demons keep on trying to test me? I have become my own savior, a warrior so please old friends let me have my peace and eat it too I am sorry but I need to walk away from the things that no longer serve me

I am not sleeping anymore like I use to
I have a calling telling me that I have spirit work to do
