Analysis of Insomina

My eyelids are heaven and earth.
They race to reach each other but never meet.
Impossible like finding a needle in a hay stack.
They twitch and itch.
But all I can do is see.
I try to scream,
To shout,
But it seems my echoes of agony bounced of the wall.

My eyes weigh more than my entire body.
More like a weighing balance with a story building on each end.
I see day and night as the same
With only the darkness thrown at night as the difference.
I clinch my pillow, but cannot feel a pinch of sleep.
I wallow in my sorrow.

Like a bride awaiting  her wedding day,
I yearn for daytime.
To find solace in companion of friends.
Building sandcastles or snow men.
Many find sleep to be schlock,
But it is the very ware I cannot buy
