Analysis of Black Butterfly
Like a caterpillar
Metamorphoses into a butterfly
Astounds
Into the daylight
Takes flight
Flutters and alights on rose petals
So light
Resounds in delight
Feeling the warmth of sunlight
Radiant and bright
Until the darkness of the night
Dancing through life
With little worries of wrong or right
If only we had embraced the tree of life
If only Adam did not love his wife
More than he loved the Creator of all life
From boyhood
I epiphany into manhood
So ready, so ripe
Mind alert, body right
Future bright
Met characters flawed
Traps ignored
Silly games left me bored
Inconsequential were never decisions of youth
Never befuddled by choices of false or truth
Caterpillar no more
Fly Black Butterfly
Soar
His Woman Adorned
Roar Black Man Roar
The Lion Endures
Roar Some More
New Man Is Born, Heaven Ensured
Encore, Roar
Round of Applause
