Analysis of Judgment Glory
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
The righteous judgment of God,
To consider worthiness;
Whence causing you to be flawed,
Once you have prayed to confess.
For which you are suffering,
God repays through affliction;
Christ comes for your buffering,
In times of tribulation.
Christ will grant you great relief,
At times of your troubled rest;
For through your faith and belief,
The Lord reveals you are blest.
With His angels from Heaven,
A fire inflicts vengeance;
For the defiance given,
Of their disobedience.
For eternal destruction,
In the presence of the Lord;
Who follows dark instruction,
Any warnings are ignored.
The One who was crucified,
Shall return upon that day;
By the saints be glorified,
Admiration to obey.
Anyone refusing to work,
Neither should they ever eat;
Because the vultures will lurk,
Wait to nourish of their meat.
If you walk in idleness,
Rather as busybodies;
Your mind has deceitfulness,
As a corrupted disease.
Such a person I command,
Be encouraged in the Lord;
Work gently and understand,
For being in one accord.
