Analysis of Try

Sipra Gupta 2001 (Howrah)

Nothing is fine,
Nothing is great,
And you all think that
It's your fate!

What about dreams?
What about the screams?
What about the inner soul?
That you buried inside you
And now you only live for those "notes"?

You seem to enjoy,
You seem to smile,
But once look at the mirror
This smile doesn't seem so real
As it was when you didn't care
About society's trivial.

Look the sun is still the same,
Look the moon also loses its shape,
But when it's his time to stand and fight.
Even he doesn't seem to step back
On a full moon night.

You know your ability,
You know your thoughts,
And when it comes to fight
Don't forget that
Even the candle tries to shine
Till he has the last hope called " try"
