Analysis of Like a shadow,

There's something right under my skin
feels very intimidating from within
Something dark that makes me spin
sounds like pinning melancholy violin
The shadows somehow find a way to multiply
slowly putting me to sleep like a lullaby

I sing to myself,
"there's freedom right where you can reach,
but for the strength you need, you must beseech
I know you're not afraid, so why can't you leach?"

But then little stars start to sparkle
and align through the dark mite
Now every time I look up to the moon, I boggle
because there are shadows, there must be a lot of light

About this poem

The poem is all about the shadows and darkness that exists from within and about how you can touch freedom irrespective of those shadows if you'd just want it with all might. The poem continues while talking about how there must also be light somehwere in the dark shadows.
